Celebrate National Pollinator Week and win! Contest

Pollination is vital to our delicate ecosystem; the transfer of pollen between flowers leads to fertilization and ensures that a plant will produce full-bodied fruit and seeds. There are over 1,000 plants worldwide that need to be pollinated by animals in order to grow the food, beverages, spices, fibers and medicines that we humans consume. The Get to Know Contest is celebrating National Pollinator Week (June 18 – 24) and invites you to too!

American entrants who submit a contest entry inspired by their favourite pollinating wild neighbours before July 6th can win an amazing pollinator prize pack! We’re highlighting these amazing entries in a special ‘Pollinator Week’ album here in the Gallery.

National Pollinator Week runs from June 18 – 24 and is supported by PPG and contest partners, Wildlife Habitat Council and the US Forest Service. Want more information on National Pollinator Week, including how you can take part, guides and resources? Visit their website here to learn more!
