“If we can get art and nature into the minds of young people, they can change the world!”
- Wyland, Artist of the Sea
About the Wyland Foundation
The Wyland Foundation and Toyota, with support from the National League of Cities, CH2M Hill WaterMatch, Rain Bird Corporation, Lowe's Home Improvement stores, US Environmental Protection Agency, and the US Forest Service, are challenging cities across the country to be the most “water-wise” in an effort to promote resource conservation and the importance of sustainability. You can do your part by going to www.mywaterpledge.com and pledging to conserve water, protect natural resources, and reduce pollution, April 1-30. Participants in cities with the highest percentage of residents who make the commitment are entered to win hundreds of environmentally friendly prizes, including a Toyota Prius c, water-saving fixtures and gift certificates.

About the Algalita Marine Research Institute
Art is the perfect way to celebrate beauty, explore our souls, and uncover what our eyes cannot always see on their own. It gives voice to the voiceless and is one of the most powerful ways to send a message. We live in a time where our environment is changing very quickly. There has never been a better time to get out and capture the wonders of nature. Our organization would like to thank you for sharing the beauty that is worth protecting.

"Wildlife Forever's State-Fish Art Program is celebrating our 15th Anniversary of using art to catch the imagination of students and science to foster discovery of the natural world. Our free Fish On! Lesson Plan and Contest runs annually from September to April and the Get To Know Contest begins in April ending in November. By working together our reach is greater and we are able to provide opportunities year-round for more and more kids to get outside, learn from the wild and create art about their experiences." – Karen R. Hollingsworth, Manager, State-Fish Art Contest
