O.I.S.E.A.U., an ancient and storied
organization officially known as the

Order of Inter- Species Explorers Adventurers & Übernaturalists,

...was founded 10,327 years ago to this day. Working around the clock (except for the hour of 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., which is reserved for napping) to preserve biodiversity, OISEAU conducts research, conservation, education programs, and public outreach. Conveniently, ‘oiseau’ is also the French word for ‘bird’ (which is indeed, 'the word').

Its members, known as Agents of Nature, complete training missions and solve nature mysteries outdoors at sites found all over Calgary.

While a highly secretive organization, several of its key members have been identified. They are organized below in what is assumed to be a traditional leadership hierarchy. It is unknown how many other members there are. Estimates range from 4.3 million on the lower end, to 5.08 quadrillion on the higher end.
